In this role, your main responsibility will be to receive and manage inventory efficiently and ensure that products transition seamlessly from the stockroom to the sales floor. Your accuracy and attention to detail will directly impact the store’s success in terms of profitability, stock integrity, and customer satisfaction.

This is a physically active and highly organised position, ideal for someone who thrives in a structured environment, values teamwork, and enjoys supporting a retail operation from its core.

    • Ensure products are properly stored to prevent damage and maintain quality.
  • Product Preparation and Replenishment
    • Prioritise replenishment items and transfer them to the shop floor efficiently.
    • Support the service team by preparing and organising stock for refills.
    • Assist with the marking down of items during seasonal or promotional sale periods.
  • Stock Accuracy and Maintenance
    • Conduct discretionary ad hoc stocktakes and participate in formal quarterly stocktakes.
    • Research discrepancies in inventory and report suspicious or unusual activity to management.
    • Process inter-store Transfers Out within 24 hours of receipt.
    • Maintain a clean, well-organised, and safe stockroom environment.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, both in the stockroom and on the shop floor.
    • Follow company procedures for all stock movements and maintain accurate records.
    • Contribute to reducing store shrinkage through careful monitoring and reporting.

    • Methodical and structured in completing routine tasks.
    • Able to follow clearly defined processes with consistency and accuracy.
    • Comfortable working under supervision with a collaborative mindset.
    • Demonstrates a proactive and positive attitude toward all tasks.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
    • Understands the importance of teamwork and works cooperatively to achieve shared goals.
    • Maintains courteous and professional interactions with team members and management.

    • Takes ownership of assigned tasks and is responsible for maintaining high standards in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem Solving
    • Requires assistance when dealing with unexpected challenges but willing to learn and adapt.
    • Reports issues promptly and follows up to ensure resolution.
