Job Overview

Are you someone with experience in the fitted furniture industry looking to work for a top brand known for quality craftsmanship and excellent service? Neville Johnson, a well-known company in this field, is searching for a careful and customer-focused Furniture Surveyor to join their growing team. In this role, you will be an important part of the customer experience, making sure that the beautifully designed fitted furniture is measured accurately, planned well, and ready to be installed perfectly. You will work directly with clients to understand their needs, measure rooms and spaces carefully, confirm the materials chosen, and check if the site is accessible for delivery and installation. Providing great service from the beginning is key.

Your main duties will include taking precise measurements of rooms and equipment to ensure the furniture fits correctly. You will also review project details with clients, including materials and layouts, to make sure everything matches their expectations. Checking and reporting on how easy it is to access the site for furniture delivery is another important part of the job. You must complete and return all paperwork quickly and accurately. Working closely with design and sales teams to discuss any needed changes is also part of your role.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in the fitted furniture industry and be comfortable using technology to complete digital paperwork. You should have strong skills in measuring and spatial planning, with a keen eye for detail and pride in your work. Good communication skills and a professional, polished appearance are important because you will often be meeting with clients. You should also have a strong knowledge of the local area and be willing to travel as needed. A full UK driving licence is required.

Neville Johnson has been creating handcrafted fitted furniture for over 35 years, focusing on quality, design, and outstanding customer service. The Advocate Group, which is helping with recruitment, is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from all qualified individuals regardless of background.
