Wood Machinist – Starting Role
Location: Unit 2, Bristol Vale Trading Estate, Hartcliffe Way, BS3 5RJ
Type: Full-time (40 hours per week, with 1 hour of paid breaks per day)

We’re looking for someone to join the Konk team in a starting role as a wood machinist.

You don’t need loads of experience – just a genuine interest in woodworking, a good work ethic, and a willingness to learn.

What the job involves:
• Prepping timber using machines like planers, thicknesseres and wide belt sanders
• Helping cabinetmakers with materials and general workshop tasks
• Keeping things tidy and organised
• Solid timber glue-ups using buscuit jointer and glue-racks

What we’re after:
• Someone reliable, practical, and hardworking
• You’re into making or furniture design, and take pride in doing things well
• Some workshop experience would be preferable, however training will be provided to the right candidate
