Job Overview
North Bristol NHS Trust is seeking a highly organised Patient Transport Data Lead to manage and improve the delivery of non-emergency patient transport services. This key role supports data accuracy, service performance, cost-efficiency, and operational compliance across transport systems.
Key Responsibilities

Collect, analyse, and report data on aborted trips, scheduling, and vehicle usage.

Monitor KPIs to meet or exceed service performance targets.

Manage contractual additions, ensure SLA compliance, and support cost recharges.

Resolve data discrepancies and collaborate with internal/external stakeholders.

Produce regular reports and dashboards for performance monitoring.

Lead on validating data quality, investigating cancelled trips, and auditing patient-level transport records.

Supervise transport team activities, rotas, and training.

Ensure adherence to health & safety policies and escalate operational concerns.
Essential Criteria

Level 3 qualification plus additional training (e.g. HND or equivalent).

Health & Safety awareness.

Previous NHS or healthcare transport experience.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.

Ability to work independently and build effective relationships.
