360 Connections Group Ltd are working in partnership with our client to recruit all staff for their new supermarket located in the Croydon area.

The store has recently received a lot of media attention having announced its celebrity partnership and opening date!

We are looking for highly experienced supermarket supervisors who have the proven ability to lead their team to deliver exceptional customer service and drive store sales

Responsibilities
• Supervise the performance of the shop floor, cashier, and counter staff, providing guidance and support as needed
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure alignment on goals and expectations
• Provide effective coaching and training for staff to enhance their skills and product knowledge
• Manage inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimising excess stock.
• Labour planning, scheduling, absence and holiday management
• Ensure minimal stock loss/shrinkage
• Conduct regular performance reviews to assess individual contributions and identify areas for improvement

Experience
• Proven experience in supermarket supervisor role is essential
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience supervising teams in a supermarket environment
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences
• A proactive approach to problem-solving, with strong time management skills to meet deadlines consistently
• Due diligence and health and safety management

Pay & Benefits
• £27000.00 per annum
• 28 days holiday (pro-rata)
• Pension after qualifying period
