Responsibilities:
• Stock Management: Receive and inspect incoming stock, ensuring accuracy and quality of products. Organize and maintain stock levels on shelves and in storage areas.
• Inventory Control: Conduct regular stock checks to monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies to the management. Maintain proper records of stock movements and update inventory databases.
• Order Processing: Assist with order processing and stock replenishment to ensure products are readily available for customers.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor expiration dates and product conditions to ensure the sale of fresh and safe products to customers.
• Organization and Presentation: Keep the store and stock areas clean, organized, and visually appealing. Ensure that all products are appropriately labeled with price tags and promotions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including cashiers and sales associates, to ensure smooth store operations and excellent customer service.
• Health and Safety: Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for colleagues and customers. Report any potential hazards or incidents to the supervisor.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar role in the retail industry.
• Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer literacy to manage inventory databases.
• Physical stamina to lift and move heavy stock when required.
