Overview

We’re looking for a highly skilled Production Manager Specialist to lead operational excellence within our technology domain. In this pivotal role, you’ll drive continuous improvement of processes and ensure a resilient, high-performing production environment aligned with our business continuity goals and customer expectations.

This is a prime opportunity to build visibility across the bank while developing and managing critical stakeholder relationships, technical standards, and risk mitigation strategies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Production Leadership: Deliver robust production management across infrastructure and applications, ensuring uptime, performance, and adherence to compliance standards.

  • Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of learning and feedback to evolve and enhance operational processes and performance.

  • Change Management: Manage demand and change requests, proactively understanding upcoming platform changes and collaborating across teams to avoid disruption.

  • Risk & Compliance: Identify production risks and ensure mitigation plans are in place, with a focus on recovery and resilience. Ensure full compliance with legal, regulatory, and security standards.

  • Deployment Oversight: Manage and deliver production deployments that meet high-quality technical standards.

  • Workload Prioritisation: Oversee inbound work requests and scheduling, ensuring balanced priorities and effective resource utilisation.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive incident resolution and long-term stability.


Skills & Experience Required

  • Technical Proficiency: Solid understanding of platform architecture, system design, and the production support lifecycle, ideally within a banking or financial services environment.

  • Mobile & Web Support: Production support experience with mobile, web, backend, and database systems is highly desirable.

  • Agile & DevOps Environment: Strong experience working within Agile and DevOps delivery models.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Demonstrated ability to manage complex relationships and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking with the ability to anticipate, identify, and solve issues across multiple systems and domains.

  • Toolsets & Standards: Familiarity with industry-standard monitoring and incident management tools, and a commitment to ITIL or similar service management practices.
