Job Description:
A leading medical imaging center in NYC is seeking a PET/CT Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures. The role involves operating PET and CT scanners, assisting patients, and ensuring high-quality imaging results. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered for qualified candidates.
Responsibilities:
- Operate PET and CT imaging equipment
- Prepare and position patients for scanning
- Ensure accurate image quality for diagnostic evaluation
- Maintain safety protocols and radiation protection standards
- Work closely with radiologists and medical staff
Requirements:
- ARRT or NMTCB certification required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology
- 2+ years of experience in PET/CT imaging
- Knowledge of radiation safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail and patient care skills
