Job Opportunity: Supply Pastoral Support Worker – Bradford

Contract Type: Supply (Short & Long-Term Assignments)
Pay Rate: £90 – £110 per day (PAYE)
Start Date: Immediate
Working Hours: Term Time Only, Monday–Friday
‍ About the Role

We are seeking compassionate and resilient individuals to join our team as Supply Pastoral Support Workers in Bradford. This role involves working across various primary and secondary schools, providing vital support to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Your primary responsibility will be to foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes student well-being and academic engagement.
Key Responsibilities
• Build strong, trusting relationships with students to support their emotional and social development.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to implement effective behaviour management strategies and individualised support plans.
• Assist in monitoring student attendance and engagement, intervening when necessary to promote consistent participation.
• Liaise with external agencies and professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and incidents, adhering to safeguarding protocols.

Candidate Profile
• Experience working with children or young people, particularly those with SEMH or Special Educational Needs (SEN).
• Demonstrated patience, empathy, and resilience in challenging situations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Flexibility to adapt to different school environments and student needs.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
