Part-time waiter or waitress

Duties:

– Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner
– Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
– Enter orders into the POS system and ensure accuracy
– Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
– Provide excellent customer service and address any guest concerns or requests
– Upsell menu items and promote daily specials
– Assist with food preparation and plating when needed
– Clear tables and reset for the next guest
– Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately

Experience:

– Previous experience as a server in a restaurant or similar setting is preferred
– Knowledge of basic math for handling payments and making change
– Familiarity with kitchen operations and food preparation processes
– Strong upselling skills to increase sales and enhance the guest experience
– Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
– Understanding of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures
– Excellent guest service skills, including attentiveness, patience, and problem-solving abilities
