Part-time Housekeeper

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, including hotels and commercial establishments. This role requires a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service and ensuring that all areas are kept to the highest standards of hygiene and presentation.

Responsibilities
• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and other designated spaces.
• Ensure all surfaces are dusted, vacuumed, and mopped as required.
• Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities in accordance with established procedures.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Assist with laundry duties as needed, ensuring that all items are cleaned and returned efficiently.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests and inquiries in a friendly manner.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are stored correctly and used safely.

Skills
• Proven experience in commercial cleaning or housekeeping roles is preferred.
• Ability to cook basic meals is a nice-to-have skill for providing additional services when required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members.
• Familiarity with hotel operations or experience working in a hotel environment is advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and efficiently.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
