Job description
Buckingham Care Home are looking for an individual with senior experience looking to progress to the role of Unit Manager. This role involves maintaining effective communication and liaison with the Crown Care Group home manager / deputy manager to ensure the smooth, safe, effective, responsive and caring operation of the care home.
You will be responsible for the management of a unit, including the deployment and supervision of staff throughout the 24-hour day. You will assess care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of written care plans. You will set and monitor standards of care within the framework of the home’s philosophies and goals and statement of purpose. You will be required to greet visitors and professionals, answering the door and phone and ensure enquiries are captured effectively and that management are aware of out of hours enquiries. You will support the Manager to ensure smooth running of the home whilst upholding the quality and standards set.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £15.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 33 per week
