The Vacancy
We are looking for an enthusiastic Neighbourhood Assistant to join our Liverpool Neighbourhood team. Our Neighbourhood Assistant plays a key role in owning and resolving a variety of Neighbourhoods tasks working closely with relevant Officers in the team.
This role will give you a platform to develop your skills and knowledge within Housing Services and across the wider business.
This is an important role in which you will:
• Support Neighbourhood staff across a range of activities, including tenancy and estate management
• The ability to liaise with tenants and residents over the phone or face to face, providing advice and assistance on a range of housing management issues and ensuring an efficient and professional service to tenants, partners and colleagues across the business.
• Have the skills and experience to provide a broad range of clerical and administrative support to the Neighbourhood Housing Managers and team
• Promote, encourage, and help tenants to carry out transactions online
• Work collaboratively with other teams across Housing and the wider organisation as required
To be successful in this role you will:
• Have CIH Level 3 or a willingness to work towards this qualification
• Experience of dealing with customers over the telephone and face to face, preferably in the Housing or Support sector
• The ability to organise, prioritise and finish tasks within your remit
