Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Interviewer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting interviews with a diverse range of participants, ensuring a comfortable and professional environment. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to build rapport quickly, and a keen understanding of the interview process. As an Interviewer, you will play a crucial role in gathering valuable insights and information that contribute to our research and analysis efforts.
Responsibilities
• Conduct interviews with participants in a professional and engaging manner.
• Prepare interview questions tailored to the specific objectives of each session.
• Create a welcoming atmosphere to encourage open communication and honesty from participants.
• Record responses accurately, ensuring all data is captured for analysis.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines throughout the interview process.
• Collaborate with team members to refine interviewing techniques and improve overall effectiveness.
• Provide feedback on the interviewing process and suggest improvements as necessary.
Experience
• Previous experience in conducting interviews or similar roles is preferred but not essential.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with individuals from various backgrounds.
• Excellent verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on clarity and active listening.
• Familiarity with qualitative research methods is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently while also being part of a collaborative team environment.
• A keen attention to detail and strong organisational skills are essential for managing multiple interviews effectively.
Visits will need to be made across these time slots:
o Morning (0900 – 1200)
o Afternoon (1200 – 1800)
o Evening (1800 -2000) or Saturday (any time between 09:00 – 20:00)
o Interviewers will need to work across mornings, afternoons, and evenings and are contracted to work Monday to Saturday.
o To ensure that we reach respondents, interviews will need to be conducted between the hours of 09:00 – 20:00 and there is a potential for admin and travel time outside of these hours.
