The ClubHouse is an all-day dining and taproom located in the heart of Princes Square, Glasgow. The Role:

We are seeking an experienced and creative Head Chef to lead our kitchen team and take charge of menu development. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional food, experience working in high-volume environments, and the ability to inspire and lead a dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the kitchen team in preparing a wide range of dishes with consistency and quality.
• Create, innovate, and develop new menu items in line with seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
• Maintain high standards of food presentation and ensure all dishes meet the restaurant’s quality expectations.
• Train, mentor, and manage kitchen staff, promoting a positive and professional environment.
• Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring smooth service during busy periods.
• Manage stock levels, inventory, and liaise with suppliers to ensure quality ingredients.
• Maintain food safety standards and ensure the kitchen complies with all health and safety regulations.
• Work closely with management to align kitchen operations with business goals and customer demands.

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
• Strong background in menu development and a passion for creating dishes that excite guests.
• Ability to lead, train, and motivate a passionate and hardworking kitchen team.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask under pressure.
• In-depth knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety regulations.
• A flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends.
