Food Runner

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and with exceptional service. This position requires a keen attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for hospitality.

Duties
• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner.
• Ensure that all orders are accurate and presented beautifully before serving.
• Assist with meal preparation and food preparation as needed in the kitchen.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the service area, including clearing tables and resetting them for new guests.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions from guests.
• Provide excellent guest services by responding to inquiries and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Uphold high standards of hygiene and safety in food handling practices.
• Assist with other duties as required, including supporting waitstaff during busy periods.

Skills
• Strong background in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred.
• Experience in meal preparation or food preparation is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette when taking orders or assisting guests.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A team player who can work collaboratively with kitchen staff and front-of-house personnel.
• Knowledge of guest services principles and practices.
• Previous experience as a delivery driver is beneficial but not essential.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £11.44-£12.25 per hour

Expected hours: 3 – 10 per week
