In this exciting role, you will be responsible for handling customer enquiries, providing quotations, maintaining high facility standards, issuing Customer Agreements, advising customers on unit sizes, scheduling viewings, taking payments, and managing late payments. Must have excellent communication skills, be proficient in administrative tasks, and demonstrate a strong ability to multitask in a fast-paces environment.
You will be part of a motivated team of Advisors to achieve their ambitious targets and help Quick Self Storage on its growth journey.
Key Responsibilities:
– Handle incoming and outgoing calls, emails and any correspondence from existing customers and prospective customers regarding storage enquiries, payments, and other related matters.
– Provide accurate and timely quotations based on customer requirements.
– Assist customers in completing Customer Agreements and other necessary paperwork.
– Advise customers on the appropriate size of storage units based on their needs.
– Schedule and coordinate viewings for potential customers.
– Process payments securely and efficiently.
– Follow up with customers regarding late payments and initiate appropriate actions to resolve outstanding balances.
– Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
– Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless customer experience.
– Basic cleaning duties are involved to keep the whole facility clean and tidy to the highest standards.
– Be willing to help customers as and when required with their goods to ensure a good customer service experience.
– Any other additional duties as required to meet the needs of the business.
Key Skills:
– Previous experience in customer service or call centre roles preferred.
– Must be ‘hands on’ with a ‘can do attitude’ as and when required.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
– Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with customers.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) CRM systems.
– Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
– Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.
– Reliable and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
– Flexibility to work hours as needed to meet the needs of the business which includes weekends.
– Phone etiquette
– Ability to work under pressure
– Highly computer literate
Qualifications:
– Proven experience in a customer service/sales role with a minimum of 3 years’ experience ideally from within the self-storage sector.
– Resilient, hardworking, and self-motivated
– High attention to detail
– Ability to learn and retain information quickly
– Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment; results-oriented mindset.
– Commitment to work extra hours as required – up to 20 hours per week, between Monday to Sunday (every Saturday and Sunday) – must be flexible with working days.
Weekends are fixed with 12 hours, the working shift pattern is as follows:
Saturday – 9am to 5pm
Sunday – 10am to 3pm
