Record UK is the UK subsidiary of the Agta-Record Group who is one of the major companies within the automatic pedestrian door systems industry. The group manufactures and distributes door systems to over 40 countries worldwide.

We design, manufacture, supply, install and service automated door systems and aluminium shop-fronts throughout the UK to a wide range of organisations and clients.

Due to continued growth and high demand for its services, the company is now seeking to recruit a suitable candidate to join the Credit Control team within our busy Finance department, based at our Hamilton Hub.

This is a part-time role of 25 hours per week. The working pattern is flexible, and we’re happy to discuss this with the successful candidate to agree on a schedule that supports both your work-life balance and the needs of the credit control team.

Job Description

Reporting initially to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for:
• Building strong relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, and colleagues across our office locations.
• Working collaboratively with your credit control colleagues to collect outstanding balances in line with clients’ agreed credit terms.
• Contacting clients via phone and email to chase overdue payments.
• Monitoring and reviewing company credit ratings.
• Performing general accounts and administrative duties using Sage 200, Credithound, and Microsoft applications.
• Escalating issues promptly to relevant stakeholders such as Project Managers, Account Executives, or senior finance leadership.
• Sending monthly statements, reconciling accounts, and managing client queries.
• Ensuring invoice approvals and timely payments via client portals by following established processes.
• Supporting compliance with our ISO Business Management System.
