/ Position: Aircraft Mechanic (Components)

/ Location: Luton Airport

/ Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Gama Aviation is a very reputable Business Aviation company, working on both fixed wing and rotary aircrafts. We are continuing to grow and expand, with exciting contracts being secured!

Our Luton location are pleased to announce we will be opening a new Component Workshop in 2025. As a result of this, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Component Mechanic to join our team in Luton. Specialising in wheels and related repair work, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing essential aircraft components, ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality in compliance with industry regulations.

/ Responsibilities:
• Perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) activities on aircraft wheels and associated components.
• Adhere to maintenance manuals, engineering instructions, and regulatory requirements (e.g., EASA Part 145 standards).
• Clearly record on worksheets details of the tasks completed, accurately reflecting the works performed with time booking
• Comply with all company health and safety policies, procedures and COSHH requirements
• Support the workshop team in achieving production schedules and performance targets.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient work environment
• Comply with all procedures listed in the current Staff Company Handbook
• Any other duties commensurate with the position

/ Skills, Qualifications and Experience required:
• A minimum of 2 years working in Aviation, ideally within maintenance and repair of wheels and related components.
• Preferably have a working knowledge of CAA regulations which applies to component overhaul/repair
• Strong attention to detail
