Competitive pay rate of £13.68- 15/ hour (negotiable- based on experience).

I am excited to announce that one of our welcoming and vibrant primary schools in South Liverpool, are looking for a dedicated, hands-on Caretaker to join and help keep our school safe, clean, and running smoothly.

This is a vital role at the heart of our school community, supporting both the day-to-day upkeep of the site and helping to create a safe and positive environment for our children, staff, and visitors.

What you’ll be doing:
• Opening and securing the school each day.
• Carrying out basic repairs, maintenance, and improvements.
• Ensuring the school grounds are clean, safe, and tidy.
• Managing heating, lighting, and security systems.
• Supporting health & safety checks and compliance.
• Liaising with contractors and external services when needed.

Requirements:
• Previous caretaker/site management experience (preferably in a school or similar setting).
• A good understanding of health & safety regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Must Haves:
• Legal Right to Work in the UK: You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced Child DBS: You must have an Enhanced Child DBS check or be willing to undertake one (we can help with this).
