The iconic Two Bridges Hotel stands in the heart of Dartmoor National Park, offering traditional, warm hospitality and award-winning dining in stunning natural setting.

32 bedrooms, a 2 AA Rosette restaurant, bar and lounges, outdoor dining, weddings, events and conferences.

This key management role is responsible for the delivery of front-of-house operational and customer service excellence, with particular emphasis on developing and leading the food and beverage team to consistently meet and exceed 2 AA Rosette customer experience standards. The successful candidate will have strong organisational skills and proven skills in leading a team to deliver exceptional customer service and successful events. The role also includes responsibility for optimising GP levels through intelligent purchasing, pricing and stock levels.

Key accountabilities:
• Support the general manager in leading an efficient, professional and happy front-of-house team
• Motivate the team to deliver, and enjoy delivering, exceptional customer experiences
• Use guest feedback data to further improve staff training and development
• Ensure service standards, including company standards and AA Two Rosette standards, are met and exceeded
• Assist the General Manager in ensuring the smooth and effective operation of all departments
• Manage a wide range of functions including weddings, private dinners and family occasions, ensuring customer expectations are exceeded
• In conjunction with the General Manager, monitor and control operating costs and continually identify opportunities for improved cost efficiency
• Develop and enhance the wine list and bar offering, whilst ensuring that GP targets are met and exceeded
• Ensure compliance with company health and safety policies and procedures
