The Role:

As an Account Executive focused on solar installers, you will drive new business by prospecting, qualifying, and closing deals with solar contracting companies. You’ll leverage your deep understanding of the renewable energy landscape and consultative selling skills to position our SaaS platform as the go-to solution for improving operational efficiency, cash flow, and overall business performance. This role requires a proactive, relationship-driven individual who can navigate complex sales cycles and consistently exceed targets.

Your key responsibilities:

Prospecting & Lead Generation
• Identify and engage prospective solar installer accounts through targeted outreach, industry events, and digital channels.
• Develop and execute tailored strategies to generate a robust sales pipeline

Sales Process Management
• Manage the complete sales cycle from initial contact through to contract negotiation and closing.
• Conduct compelling product demos and consultative presentations that address the unique challenges faced by solar installers.

Relationship Building
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision makers within targeted accounts.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to prospects, offering tailored insights into how our SaaS platform can drive operational and financial improvements.

Collaboration & Feedback
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Customer Success, and Product) to share market feedback and refine our value proposition.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of sales strategies and processes.

Performance & Reporting
• Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Accurately forecast sales and report on pipeline activity using our CRM system.

What you’ll need:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of proven B2B SaaS sales experience with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
• Prior experience selling into the solar, renewable energy, or related industries is highly preferred.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Deep understanding of the consultative sales process and ability to articulate complex solutions in simple terms.
• Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Hubspot) and other sales tools.
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
