Due to continuous growth, we now require a full time Goods Out Associate / Specialist to join our busy Operations and work alongside Goods Out team.
Goods Out Associate/Specialist is responsible for overseeing the outbound logistics of goods in EU and UK, ensuring that all products are correctly packed, labelled, and dispatched in a timely and accurate manner. This role requires close coordination with various departments, such as sales, production, inventory control, procurement, and external transport & logistics companies, to ensure that products are sent to customers or other locations without errors.
• **Please note this is office/desk based job and not a warehouse role***
Reporting to Goods Out Manager, duties will include:
• Oversee and coordinate the daily shipment schedule
• Prepare and verify orders for outbound delivery, ensuring correct quantities, products, and packaging
• Ensure that all goods leaving warehouse locations are properly labelled and meet customer-specific regulations
• Coordinate with logistics and transportation teams to arrange shipments
• Manage and track transportation carriers to ensure on-time delivery
• Address and resolve any shipping issues or delays promptly
• Prepare and maintain shipping documentation such as bills of lading, invoices, and customs declarations, if applicable
• Provide support to Account Management/Sales Support team by ensuring timely and accurate shipments to customers
• Communicate with customers’ logistics teams or internal teams regarding any shipment issues or delays
• Report any discrepancies, damages, or missing items to the relevant teams for resolution
• Any other various tasks associated with the role
Required Skills and Experience:
• Previous experience in a similar role: transport, shipping, road freight logistics (1 year min)
• Strong ability to prioritise multiple tasks efficiently
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Confident User of Microsoft Suite
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
