Veterinary Surgeon – Confident in Surgical and Medical Cases
Location: Wimbledon
Salary: £45,000 – £65,000, dependent on experience
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week; part-time hours considered)
We are a small animal practice in the leafy suburb of Wimbledon, looking for two enthusiastic and professional Veterinary Surgeons to join our dedicated team!
About Us
Join a vibrant practice where we take pride in delivering exceptional veterinary care. Our team sees a wide variety of cases, including a higher-than-average number of rabbits and exotic animals. We have regular visits from an animal behavioural specialist, enriching our practice environment. Our bright, air-conditioned surgery is purpose-built to industry-leading standards, featuring state-of-the-art equipment, including digital X-ray and in-house laboratory facilities. We fully support individual interests, so if you have a particular area of expertise or passion, this could be the perfect fit for you!
About You
We are seeking experienced Veterinary Surgeons who are confident in handling routine surgical and medical cases. Candidates with special interests are encouraged and will receive support, along with a generous CPD allowance of a minimum of £3,000. While experience in emergency surgery and working with rabbits is advantageous, it is not essential.
Hours
This full-time role operates Monday to Friday, with no weekends required. There will be some sole charge responsibilities, but you can enjoy peace of mind with no out-of-hours duties, promoting a healthy work/life balance.
