Teaching Assistant 1

William Austin Infant School

William Austin Infant School is looking to appoint a part-time Teaching Assistant from September 2025 to support children , some of which may have additional needs, either on a one to one basis, within a small group, or to provide support for teachers in the classrooms.

This post is for term time plus 5 staff training days.

You will need:
• Some experience of working with children in Key Stage 1 or Foundation Stage
• To complete a Level 3 Paediatric course ( 2 days)
• To undertake a Level 2 Team Teach Qualification(2 days)
• To be motivated and committed to help our pupils achieve the best outcomes

The hours of work are 17.5. hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.40 a.m to 12.10 p.m

You must have fluent spoken and written English for this role.
