The Senior Online Operations Field Manager will support our retail leadership in managing our growing online business across Britain.
Reporting into the Head of Online, you will be accountable for establishing operational best practice for our operating model, identifying appropriate resources and training needed to implement in store and provide expert advice/guidance and support to both the wider project team and Managers/colleagues in-store, to help deliver further market share growth.
This role will cover both our Morrisons.com business as well as our online partnerships.
This is a 12 month secondment opportunity, working 5 days per week.
Applicants should ideally reside in Northern England and be comfortable with travel by car across the country.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
Responsible for managing a team of 4 Acting as a leader within our online business and a point of escalation for our stores Support, coach and where necessary challenge our retail team to ensure the best experience for our customers Working with the wider business to improve understanding and knowledge,to allow them to improve and develop their ways of working and services which have an impact on our in store operating model Providing a high quality & consistent support/ service/ contact network to project team/stores / field teams Provide industry expertise and knowledge to project and store team Build a high performing, engaged, diverse team (in-store), focused on first class customer service and drive clear accountability at all levels Leading store online teams to success.

For this role, we’re looking for someone who has:
• Significant management experience in a retail environment
• Proven ability to lead multiple teams to achieve operational metrics
• An understanding of Online/Ecommerce operations within a store environment – Desirable
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, including with senior leaders of the business
• The ability to recruit, train and develop a team, that will regularly deliver first rate customer service
• The ability to take ownership for delivery of the plans, delivering under pressure and in situations of ambiguity
• Ability to use both Google Sheets and Google Slides to tell stories
