Job Summary:

The People Services Lead will play a pivotal role in enhancing the employee experience through effective HR / People Services. This position will oversee various HR / People areas across the employee lifecycle, including compliance, policy design, onboarding/offboarding, absence management, payroll, benefits administration, people information management technology including people insights and analytics and employee relations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ask HR: Resolve employee inquiries in a timely manner by leading a project to implement AI technology and leveraging their knowledge of Diaceutics benefits, policies, employment verification, programs, systems and other day-to-day people information management systems including enhancement of employee self-service capability.
• Regulation and Compliance: Ensure adherence to labour laws and regulations for all countries Diaceutics operates in, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation for each the countries including but not limited to contractual obligations, performance management, etc. and ensuring employee handbooks are up to date, appropriate compliance training takes place and the company is meeting the requirements of various US State riders.
• Policies – Design and Embedding: Collaborate with HR leadership to design, implement, and communicate HR policies that align with organizational goals and legislative changes.
• Onboarding/Offboarding Process: Oversees the development, enhancement, and execution of onboarding and offboarding processes ensuring a smooth transition takes place.
• Absence Management: Oversee absence management processes ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Payroll: Coordinate payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in payroll administration.
• Benefits Renewals and Administration: Manage benefits programs including annual and monthly process, negotiating renewals, working with other team members to enhance current benefits ensuring the benefits are competitive at a local level.
• Contractual Changes: Lead contractual changes process ensuring all internal process are followed and the correct paperwork is issued in a timely matter ensuring compliance at a local level.
• Probation Management: Monitor and evaluate employee performance during probation periods, providing support and guidance as needed.
• Employee Relations (ER): Provide a dedicated and effective HR service to senior leaders, managers and employees that covers absence, conduct and capability, grievances, organisational change, performance management and all other employee-relations matters in line with legislation.
• Visas: Administers and manages employee immigration and mobility programs, including vendor management, process improvement and the employee experience. Also identify and address areas of improvement in the immigration and mobility programs.
• Reporting/Analytics/Insight: Generate HR reports and analytics to provide insights into workforce trends and inform decision-making.
• HRIS – Digital Experience: Be a super user of Success Factors by managing and enhancing the people information management system to improve the digital employee experience as well as that of the People Team. This will include providing key people insights and analytics and improving senior leadership capability on using the system to its full potential.
• Change Management: Navigate the change environment, coaching leaders through design, implementation and monitoring the impact of change.
• People Experience and Capability: This role is flexible and will be involved in some other initiatives such as Performance Management, Culture, Onboarding, Talent Acquisition, as needs arise.

Key Attributes Required:

• Customer Service / External Impact: Excellent interperson skills and the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders and provide sound advice and guidance in many aspects of the People function.
• Decision-Making: Confident in making complex decisions, often based on conflicting information, in order to effectively manage their own workload. Ability to follow standard practices or guidelines, planning workload based on agreed processes and management supervision.
• Initiative and Independence: Ability to develop and implement ideas, proactively planning projects in conjunction with other internal stakeholders in regards to agreed results and outputs.

Knowledge and Specialist Skills:
• Hold a BSc Degree in Human Resource Management or Business Studies / Management.
• Have 5+ years of experience in an HR / People Services Officer role with demonstrable competence in HR / People functional areas such as, but not limited to, onboarding / offboarding, contractual changes, talent acquisition, people experience etc. to include 2 years experience working in an international organisation with different employment laws and adhering to the local legislation.
• Have 3+ years Employee Relations experience including managing complex cases in multiple countries including UK, US and Ireland with minimal supervision.
• Have 3+ years’ experience of leading the activities/projects of HR / People Services team.
• Competence in HR / People functional areas such as talent acquisition, talent management, performance management, and learning and development.
• Proven experience in administering and managing employee immigration / visa processes.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office tools
• Solid process-driven administration skills
• Ability to multitask, meet deadlines and adapt to a fluid, high growth environment
• Ability to work independently but still a team player.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
