Our Scottish Solicitor client is seeking an experienced Legal Administration Assistant who knows the ins and outs of Scottish legal procedure, particularly court work and is ready to make an immediate impact.
This role is ideal for someone who’s already worked in a legal environment, understands the pace and precision required for court documentation, and can hit the ground running with minimal supervision.
What’s on Offer
Salary: Circa £30,000 (depending on experience) Location: Glasgow office Hours: Full-time, permanent
· Monday–Thursday: 8:45am – 4:45pm
· Friday: 8:45am – 4:15pm

The Role
As part of our high-performing legal support team, you’ll play a central role in keeping operations running smoothly — with a particular focus on Scottish court procedures and case preparation. Your legal admin skills will support our solicitors in delivering justice efficiently and effectively.
Key responsibilities include:
· Providing expert administrative support across legal teams
· Preparing and formatting legal documents for Scottish court use, including summonses, motions, and productions
· Maintaining client files and case records with accuracy and care
· Drafting and submitting court forms and handling procedural documentation
· Liaising with court offices, counsel, clients, and third parties professionally
· Answering incoming calls and managing client communications
· Coordinating court dates, appointments, and diary scheduling
· Supporting day-to-day office functions such as document handling, delivery, and filing
What You’ll Bring
· Proven Experience in Legal Administration, especially in Scottish litigation and court-based roles
· Court Work Expertise – Comfortable preparing and handling documents for Sheriff Courts and Court of Session
· Working Knowledge of Legal Procedures, timelines, document types, and court filing systems
· Fluency with Case Management Systems and Microsoft Office tools
· Excellent Communication Skills, both written and verbal
· Strong Organisational Skills, with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines
· Discretion & Integrity in handling sensitive case information
· Team-Focused Attitude and a proactive, can-do mindset
