Job Title: Class 2 HGV Multi-Drop Driver
Location: Great Howard Street Liverpool

Salary:£15 an Hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Class 2 HGV Multi-Drop Driver to join our team at the Leeds branch. This role involves not just driving but also delivering foodstuffs to our valued customers. You will work closely with a driver’s mate to ensure timely and efficient delivery, while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
– Safely operate a Class 2 HGV vehicle to deliver foodstuffs to various customers.
– Conduct multi-drop deliveries across designated routes from our Leeds branch.
– Assist the driver’s mate in offloading goods and ensuring they are delivered into the shops.
– Navigate deliveries to shops with straightforward access, as well as those requiring goods to be taken upstairs or downstairs.
– Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure all paperwork is correctly completed.
– Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any questions or concerns from customers professionally.
– Ensure the vehicle is kept in a clean and roadworthy condition, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
– Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
• *Requirements:**
– Valid Class 2 HGV license. ideally 2 years or more experience- otherwise excess will be higher.
– Proven experience in a similar multi-drop delivery role.
– Physically fit and able to handle the demands of the job, including lifting and carrying heavy goods.
– Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
– Strong communication and customer service skills.
– Ability to work well in a team and assist the driver’s mate effectively.
– Knowledge of the Leeds area is advantageous.
