Job Description:
We are looking for an Elevator Mechanic Helper to assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of elevator systems in NYC buildings. This role is ideal for those seeking hands-on experience in the elevator industry.
Responsibilities:
- Assist senior mechanics with elevator repairs and maintenance
- Perform routine safety inspections and system checks
- Transport tools and materials to job sites
- Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations
- Maintain records of service and repairs
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical training or apprenticeship preferred
- Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures
