Role: Commercial Lead – Programme Delivery
Salary: £72,000 – £79,200 + GCO Pension, GCO Terms. Up to 15% performance-related-pay available on accreditation.
Location: Abercrombie House, East Kilbride (G75 8EA) or King Charles Street, London (SW1A 2AH).
Occasional travel required within UK or internationally
Relocation costs will not be reimbursed.
The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) Commercial Directorate pursues our national interests and projects the UK as a force for good in the world. The Commercial Directorate provides end-to-end procurement and commercial solutions to deliver FCDO business, whether that’s development programmes, corporate and people services, or managing and improving our overseas estate, IT and security.
The jobholder will work within the Programme Delivery team. As a member of the commercial team supporting both FCDO Thematic Priorities relating to Girls Education/Gender/Humanitarian/Conflict &Security requirements, and Regional Teams in the West Africa and Eastern Europe & Central Asia regions and Americas and Overseas Territories, you will support the following directorates with all aspects of their needs across the full commercial lifecycle.
This is a fast-paced and exciting role, working on programmes that make a real difference. The purpose of the role is to act as a commercial lead between Commercial and key business stakeholders and may include line management responsibilities.
We are looking for inspiring individuals with preferably strong OJEU/ procurement regulation backgrounds and skills, and who can understand senior stakeholder needs. This role will report to the Humanitarian and Conflict &Security Commercial Team Lead.
