About the School:
Prospero Teaching is working alongside a mixed secondary school located in the London borough of Camden, who are actively seeking a Chemistry teacher. If you are a newly qualified teacher (NQT), the school would be able to support your induction year.
The Science department in this institution boasts 14 teachers all bringing different levels of ability and skill. All Science teachers have their own classrooms, sizes of classrooms vary between 15-30 students. The school has state-of-the-art resources for learning, including a Science lab with experienced technicians to support the team.

The successful candidate will:
• Have excellent subject knowledge in Chemistry
• Have experience of raising attainment in a challenging classroom environment

• Successfully manage classes and deal with challenging behaviour
• Encourage students to reach their full potential
• Be patient and have a good sense of humour
Qualifications:
• Have a Bachelor of Education or equivalent, with good standing
• You hold the right to work and teach in the UK (UK Passport, Ancestry Visa, Spousal Visa or Youth Mobility Visa)
• Be eligible for QTS
• Have up-to-date Safeguarding training within the last year (Prospero offers accredited CPD training)
• Successfully undergo RCMP-certified criminal record checks
• Provide at least two professional teaching references covering the last two years
