Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while processing transactions accurately and efficiently. This role requires a positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As a Cashier, you will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the overall atmosphere of our establishment.

Responsibilities
• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases.
• Operate the cash register, process payments, and issue receipts.
• Maintain an accurate cash drawer and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during the transaction process.
• Keep the checkout area clean and organised, ensuring products are well-displayed.
• Assist with restocking shelves and inventory management as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow during busy periods.

Experience
• Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role is preferred but not essential.
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail are required.
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly disposition towards customers.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with electronic payment systems is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.

Pay: £38,999.00-£39,000.00 per year
